More Than a Feeling: Awe

Is awe something you lose as life becomes familiar, or is it something you can rediscover? In Psalm 8, David looks at the vastness of creation and is overwhelmed that the God who made it all still sees and cares for him. Awe grows when we lift our eyes off ourselves and remember the greatness of God and the grace He has shown us. The same God who set the stars in place knows your name and gives your life meaning. When you see God for who He truly is, awe is not something you manufacture. It is the only response that makes sense.
