At all costs, follow Jesus, because nothing else in this life is worth more. This series challenges us to examine what we’re holding onto and whether it’s keeping us from fully following Him.  Join us and discover what it really means to follow Jesus with everything and why He alone is worth it.

AT ALL COSTS READING PLAN

DROP YOUR NETS

Scripture: Matthew 4:18–22; Mark 10:17–22

Jesus calls ordinary people to follow Him, and their response is immediate obedience. While some leave everything to follow, others walk away when surrender feels too costly. Following Jesus always requires letting go of something, but what we gain in Him is far greater.

Application Ideas:
• Identify one “net” in your life (comfort, control, plans) and surrender it to God this week.
• Practice immediate obedience in one area where God has already been prompting you.

NO EXCUSES

Scripture: Luke 9:57–62; Luke 10:1–12

Jesus makes it clear that following Him is not about convenience but commitment. Excuses, delays, and divided priorities keep us from fully stepping into what God has called us to do. The call to follow Jesus is urgent, and obedience is meant to happen now.

Application Ideas:
• Take one step you have been putting off and act on it this week.
• Look for one opportunity to share or live out your faith in a practical way.

DAILY DECISION

Scripture: John 6:60–69

When Jesus’ teaching becomes difficult, many walk away, but the true disciples stay. Following Jesus is not always easy or comfortable, but He alone has the words of life. Real faith chooses to remain with Him, even when we do not fully understand.

Application Ideas:
• Spend time in Scripture this week, especially when you feel challenged or confused.
• Choose one area where following Jesus feels hard and commit to trusting Him in it.

SHINE YOUR LIGHT

Scripture: Matthew 10:26–33; John 8:12

Jesus calls His followers to live boldly and not hide their faith. When we trust God’s care, we can overcome fear and shine His light in a dark world. Our lives are meant to point others to Him through both our words and actions.

Application Ideas:
• Share your faith or invite someone to church this week.
• Let your actions reflect Jesus in one visible way at home, work, or school.

AT ALL COSTS

Scripture: Luke 14:25–33; Galatians 2:20

Jesus calls us to count the cost and follow Him with full commitment. Discipleship is not casual. It requires putting Jesus first and surrendering our lives daily. When we choose Him intentionally, we experience the life He offers.

Application Ideas:
• Start each day this week with a short prayer of surrender to Jesus.
• Remove or limit one distraction that is pulling you away from following Him fully.
