2 Cor. 8:7 (NIV)
Online Giving: This is a safe and flexible option which allows you to schedule recurring or one-time gifts charged to your debit card, credit card or checking account. Enter your online gift amount in the box below to get started. To setup recurring gifts, click here to setup an account.
NOTE: If you are not redirected to the giving page once entering an amount and clicking "GO", check to make sure you are allowing pop ups for this page.
Debit/Credit Giving: Online giving allows the use of credit and debit transactions and makes no distinction between the two. Because we believe that debt free living is a worthy goal for all Christ followers, we offer this option only as a convenience and not as a way to circumvent sound Biblical money management principles or incur debt.
When giving with a debit or credit card, please note that Parkway will actually receive approximately 2.5% less than you contribute due to card processing fees. This can be avoided by selecting the "ACH (eCheck)" option to draft your bank account, or by processing through your bank's online bill pay option.
Text Giving: Give through a simple and secure text by texting your giving amount to 361-221-5262. Get more information on Giving By Text here.
Mobile App Giving: Give through the Shelby Next Giving app. Through this app, you can give and review your giving history. Get more information on Mobile Giving here.
Cash/Checks: You may place your gift in the offering bag during Sunday worship services or in the lock boxes at your campus. Envelopes are available in the pews also.
By Mail: Please make your checks payable to Parkway Church and mail to:
Attn: Accounting Office
4802 John Stockbauer

Stock/Bonds/Securities: If you want to donate stock to Parkway, please have your broker contact Orr Financial Group at 361-575-1695 to handle the transfer. Also, please notify the Business Office at 361-572-8340 or email@example.com of the number of shares and the name of the stock(s) you are transferring. Your gift will be acknowledged on your annual contribution statement.
Individual Retirement Account: The Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2016 allows IRA owners, age 70 1/2 and older, to direct gifts from IRA accounts to qualified charities. The qualified charitable distributions (QCD) count as required minimum distributions from an IRA and are excluded from taxpayer income, but cannot be claimed as a charitable contribution deduction. Checks must be made payable directly to the charity to qualify.
Will/Estate Plans: A charitable gift can be given through your will or other estate plans. Contact the Accounting Office if you have questions.
Life Insurance: Designate Parkway Church as beneficiary on your life insurance policy. Contact the Accounting Office if you have questions.
Other Property: If you wish to donate cars, boats, jewelry, real estate or other property, please contact our accounting office.
1. What type of financial standards are in place?
It is our desire to be the best financial stewards of the resources given to Parkway. The Stewardship Team meets monthly to review financials. The Corporate Treasurer will present the financial statements at a quarterly business meeting at each campus. In addition, a business meeting is held annually for church members to vote on the annual budget.
Parkway's accounting practices and financials are also externally audit by a local CPA firm. As you can see by our most recent financial audit, we strive to be good stewards of every resource that God trusts us with and we are committed to the highest standards of financial integrity and transparency.
2. When will I receive my annual contribution statement?
Contribution statements are mailed by January 31. If you have recently moved, please be sure to call us 361-572-8340 or email us firstname.lastname@example.org to update your information.
3. How do I make sure I receive contribution credit for this tax year
Contributions must be received or postmarked (if mailed) by Dec 31 to receive contribution credit for that tax year.
